High Rises as the source of Marketing Tool


What picture comes to our mind the moment we heard the name 'high rise' or this building has so and so floors, for some they are residential tower, for some they are office towers and for others they may be simply apartment block, or block of flats. But has anyone tried to thought beyond the parks...clubs...gyms..swimming pool...recreation centers associated with them...???

Friends, there is lot more potential in the high rise building we live today apart from these mundane amenities. It is capable of doing and providing much more than this. Just think of using these modern high society living high rises as a tool for the purpose of marketing. Yes, you heard it right...high rise buildings have lot of untapped potential to be part of the concept of modern marketing strategy.

This concept came to my mind when I used to travel in metro in Delhi and used to see lot of high rise buildings in Vaishali and Kaushambi area. I often find the unending stretch of walls of these high rise buildings quite boring...still...and mute.I often thought while looking at these from my metro seat that these walls do
have something to tell to us...they want to speak something.From there this idea of using the high rise building as the tool for modern day marketing crop up in my mind.

These days in most of the metropolitan cities husband and wife are both working. They seldom gets the chance to go through the newspaper or to watch television. Therefore it becomes all the more important for the marketing companies to device new strategies on how to reach maximum people with there product information or discounts etc.

The concept is to put the walls of these high rises for subscription/renting purpose to various companies like telecommunication, restaurants, education related, electronics, motor vehicles etc. etc....the list is unending. The ads will be provided in the digital manner and not on paper or any poster. The builder can have a tie-ups with these companies which in turn will pay the subscription fees to them.

Rapturous benefits of this concept:
  • This concept will surely help the marketing companies to reach to the depth. Scores of people these days travels through metro and will definitely see these ads from the comfort of there seats. These ads will exponentially increase the reach of the companies and there products to the people.
  • Generally the area around the high rise buildings is very densely populated, so the exposure and publicity of these ads will be much more than the conventional methods of marketing.
  • This will open a extra and lucrative source of revenue earning for high rise buildings RWA(Residence Welfare Association) and local government administration.
  • This would be a win-win situation deal as builders can pass these extra profits in there revenue coming through these ads to the flat buyers.The cost of the flat would decrease.
